Saudi Arabia and Qatar to Host 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has designated Saudi Arabia and Qatar as hosts for the fourth round of 2026 World Cup Qualifications Asia Zone.

Saudi Arabia’s coach, Herve Renard welcomes this decision — his team gets the opportunity to play on home soil during the tournament scheduled for October 8-14.

Six teams will compete in a centralized format in these two countries:

• Indonesia National Team
• Oman
• Iraq
• United Arab Emirates
• Saudi Arabia
• Qatar

The Green Falcons have a significant chance to advance to the next round — the requirement is to emerge as group winners in this fourth round.
