Valorant 10.08 Patch: Gifts for Everyone!

After a delay, Valorant 10.08 patch is finally here with several key changes. Do note that this update will first roll out in North America, followed by the Pacific region between tonight or by tomorrow (01/05) at the latest.

From agent adjustments to a new gifting system, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming update.

Agent Updates

Yoru:

• Ultimate duration reduced by 2 seconds (from 12 to 10 seconds).

• Ultimate cost increased from 7 to 8 points.

Astra:

• Nova Pulse’s stun effect duration shortened to 3.5 seconds (down from 4 seconds).

• This change reduces Astra’s crowd control dominance.

Brimstone:

• Incendiary (Molotov) audio cues are now clearer, even when obscured by smoke.

Gifting

Starting this patch, you can now send gifts to friends. Share special bundles or store items directly. They can accept or decline gifts upon logging into the game—a fun way to spread cool skins among your squad.

Other Updates

• Competitive Map Pool: Fracture has been removed and replaced with Sunset.

• To celebrate Valorant’s 5th anniversary, Episode 1’s iconic music returns to the main menu and victory screens.
