RRQ Valorant’s Duelist Irked by VCT Pacific Hardware Specs

RRQ Valorant duelist Maksim ‘Jemkin‘ Batorov recently dropped a tweet about the hardware conditions at VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1 that have been irking him.

Through his personal X account, the Russian player expressed hopes for hardware upgrades to support higher refresh rates in that circuit. He specifically criticized the competition’s computers, claiming that they are already outdated compared to their monitors.

“When Pacific will get new PCs? 250fps is not fun with 400hz monitors.”

While this was merely a complaint, fans reacted with mixed responses. Many argued that Jemkin deserves better equipment to support his impressive gameplay, while others dismissed his remarks as excessive.

Beyond this, Jemkin’s criticism could serve as a minor consideration for Riot Games to further improve the quality of the VCT circuit. Outside the Pacific region, Riot recently faced heavy backlash due to prolonged technical issues that delayed the final group stage of VCT EMEA 2025: Stage 1, particularly regarding equipment problems affecting players.
