MaiL09 Crowned Youngest Champion in FPL CS2

A new record has been set by Liam “MaiL09” Tügel in the recently concluded FaceIt Pro League CS2 Season 42 alongside his team, Johnny Speeds.

MaiL09 became the youngest champion in the history of the FPL CS2 competitive circuit at just 15 years old. The Swedish prodigy concluded his professional debut with impressive statistics, these including an 88% win rate, a 1.65 K/D ratio, an average of 23.3 kills per match, and 98.2 ADR.

This achievement marks a phenomenal leap for MaiL09, who was first introduced to the FPL in 2020. At that time, he also broke the record as the youngest player to enter the FPL EU semi-pro circuit at age 13, surpassing superstar Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who joined the FPL at 14.

With this victory, MaiL09 now sits atop the FPL CS2 EU leaderboard with a total of 48 points. Given his immense potential, it seems only a matter of time before he attracts professional offers from top-tier teams eager to find the “next m0NESY.”
