Kenan Yildiz shines as Juventus advances to Club World Cup round of 16

Kenan Yildiz delivered a stunning performance as Juventus advanced to the 2025 Club World Cup round of 16 — defeating Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca 4-1 at Lincoln Financial Field Stadium.

The Turkish wonderkid contributed significantly to three of Juventus’s four goals in their second Group G match. Yildiz’s close-range shot in the sixth minute forced Abdelmounaim Boutouil into scoring an own goal — giving the hosts the lead.

Yildiz then demonstrated his clinical finishing by scoring twice in the 16th and 69th minutes. Dusan Vlahovic completed Juventus’s scoring feast with a penalty conversion in injury time.
