Hoon Stays Cool as North American MLBB Scene Faces Decline

BloodThirstyKing‘s midlaner Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun, recently shared a relaxed response regarding the controversy surrounding the North America Competitive Circuit, which is expected to negatively impact the MLBB esports scene in the region.

As previously reported, a leak about the NACT 2025 prize pool spread on social media and sparked criticism due to the absence of monetary rewards for this season. This development has been taken seriously by several professionals in the region, including Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, who is now considering switching to other esports titles.

On the other hand, Hoon, who remains active streaming MLBB on his personal channel, admitted he isn’t stressing over the issue and revealed he never envisioned a long-term career in NACT. The South Korean pro is also content on routinely hosting watch parties on his channel.

“Who knows, maybe we won’t even have NACT after this. No prize pool, it means they don’t care, right? But to be honest, I don’t really mind, like, I wasn’t going to play in NACT forever anyways. It’s not a bad thing. Being a watch partier is not a bad move,” he said during his livestream.

Additionally, Hoon expressed his desire to retire as a player and begin a career as a team coach. He stated his readiness to work with underrated teams and prove his capabilities in that role.
