Fly Enters Blast Slam 3 as Stand-in

The Dota 2 circuit shows no signs of slowing down for Tal “Fly” Aizik. Fresh off his stand-in stint with Avulus for PGL Wallachia Season 4, he is back in the spotlight—this time stepping into the fray for BetBoom Team at the upcoming Blast Slam 3 in Denmark.

According to an announcement made on Fissure’s social media, the Israeli veteran player has reportedly inked a new deal to serve as a stand-in for BetBoom at the Blast Slam 3 circuit, which is rumored to take place once again in Denmark.

Fly will temporarily fill the position 5 role for BetBoom, usually held by Vladislav “Kataomi” Semenov. So far, there have been no further leaks about whether the team intends to extend his contract if they advance deeper into the tournament, especially given Kataomi’s inconsistent performances in recent matches.

This marks Fly’s third competitive appearance as a stand-in this year. Previously, he played for MOUZ in several European circuits and competed in the recently concluded PGL Wallachia Season 4 with Avulus. Despite his reduced involvement in intensive play, his wealth of experience in major circuits solidifies the 32-year-old as a reliable option for teams seeking trusted short-term solutions.
