Al Nassr targets Ronaldo’s former teammate to replace Pioli

Al Nassr is in search of a new coach after Stefano Pioli – currently 59 years old – is reportedly set to leave the club to join Fiorentina.

The club management attempted to bring in Luciano Spalletti with an attractive contract offer – three seasons with a payment of 18 million euros per season. However, the former Italy national team coach declined the proposed offer.

Following this rejection, Al Nassr has now turned their attention to one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s former teammates to fill the head coach position – replacing Pioli who has already reached an agreement with the Florence-based club.
