23savage Under Fire as Talon Esports Crashed Out of TI 2025 Qualifiers

Talon Esports’ Dota 2 star, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, is under fire from the Southeast Asian community after failing to lead his team through The International 2025 SEA Qualifiers earlier today.

Known for his explosive playstyle and high mechanical skill, the carry player was expected to be Talon’s key player in crucial matches. However, his performance collapsed in the best-of-three series against underdog Boom Esports.

Throughout the decisive Lower Bracket finals, 23savage consistently had the lowest stats on his team. His score lagged far behind teammates like Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman and Chung “Ws” Wei Shen, who often saved Talon in critical team fights.

This was clearly a stark contrast to his standout individual performances at DreamLeague Season 26 in Europe earlier this month. As a result, harsh criticism flooded social media from Southeast Asian Dota 2 fans, with many accusing the 23-year-old carry of easily cracking under pressure.

This loss confirms Talon Esports will miss TI 2025, leaving only the EWC 2025 as their sole major international tournament this season.
