Rinov/Gloria Fall to Denmark in Sudirman Cup 2025

Mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja failed to deliver Indonesia’s first point in their final Group D match of the 2025 Sudirman Cup against Denmark at the Xiamen Fenghuang Gymnasium, China.

Facing world No. 7 duo Jesper Toft and Amalie Magelund, the Indonesian pair lost in a tight three-game battle: 20-22, 23-21, 16-21, which lasted 73 minutes.

“We struggled at the start and couldn’t find openings to launch our attacks,” said Rinov after the match.

This defeat put Indonesia 0-1 behind Denmark in the crucial Group D tie, where Toft/Magelund showcased their strong chemistry from the outset.
