Putri Kusuma Wardani delivered a dominant performance to defeat Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt during the Group D stage of the 2025 Sudirman Cup at Fenghuang Gymnasium, Xiamen.

The Indonesian women’s singles player — previously tied 2-2 in head-to-head meetings — needed only 33 minutes to seal a comprehensive victory, 21-6, 21-5.

Despite entering the match in good form as Swiss Open runner-up and 2025 European Champion, the Danish shuttler struggled to match the solid play of Putri KW. From a narrow 6-5 lead, the Indonesian scored 10 consecutive points to take control at 16-5.

This win marks an important point for the Indonesia national badminton team in the Group D race.
