Persib Secure Liga 1 Title After Persebaya Held to Draw

According to Bolasport.com, coach Bojan Hodak gave the Persib Bandung squad a break after officially clinching the 2024/2025 Liga 1 title.

Maung Bandung — the nickname for Persib — secured the championship after a 3-3 draw between Persebaya Surabaya and Persik Kediri at Stadion Brawijaya.

Persib Bandung now sit at the top of the table with 64 points, 10 points clear of both Dewa United and Persebaya, who are tied at 54 points in second and third place.

With only three matches remaining, Persib’s lead is mathematically uncatchable — officially crowning them as Liga 1 champions this season.
