Marselino Ferdinan Set for Possible Championship Debut

Marselino Ferdinan could make his Championship debut as Oxford United face Swansea City in the final match of the season on Saturday (May 3).

The Indonesian midfielder joined Oxford United nine months ago, but has only made one appearance so far — against Exeter City in the FA Cup four months ago.

With Oxford United having secured their spot in the Championship for next season, manager Gary Rowett has indicated that players with limited minutes will be given opportunities.

Previously, the former Persebaya player had not featured in league matches due to Oxford United‘s intense battle to avoid relegation to League One throughout the season.
