Homestead-Miami Speedway to Host 2026 NASCAR Season Finale

NASCAR has officially announced that Homestead-Miami Speedway will host the 2026 NASCAR season finale, reinstating its position as the venue for the championship-deciding race.

Guillermo Santa Cruz, track president of Homestead-Miami Speedway, confirmed that the upcoming renovations are focused on aesthetics rather than altering the racing conditions.

“We won’t touch the racing surface as it’s in excellent condition and produces spectacular racing,” said Santa Cruz.

Planned facility upgrades for 2026

The scheduled improvements include:
  • Repainting areas affected by salt air corrosion

  • Enhanced hospitality zones

  • Upgraded Champions Club

  • Improved fan access and egress

  • Expanded shaded seating areas

Why the track is loved by drivers

Having taken over as track president last summer, Santa Cruz explained his decision to join was heavily influenced by the circuit’s popularity within the racing community.

“I only realized how much the drivers love this track during the hiring process,” he said.
