Fikri/Daniel Secure Group D Top Spot for Indonesia

Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin secured the top spot in Group D of the 2025 Sudirman Cup for Indonesia after defeating Denmark at Fenghuang Gymnasium, Xiamen.

The Indonesian men’s doubles pair delivered a dominant performance — overcoming world number one duo Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, who have been struggling with form since the start of the year.

Fikri/Daniel’s strategy in the back court and mid-court proved highly effective — even leading comfortably 11-3 during the match. This marked their second victory over the Danish pair, following a previous win at the All England Open earlier this year.
