Zulkifli Syukur ready to learn from Gerald Vanenburg at U-23 national team

Zulkifli Syukur officially joins as local assistant coach for Indonesia U-23 national team — he will assist Gerald Vanenburg for the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 competition.

The 41-year-old coach will collaborate with two other assistant coaches — Frank Van Kempen and Simon Tahamata in the team’s coaching structure.

“This is an opportunity that I must truly make the most of. I can learn more by absorbing the coaching knowledge displayed by coach Gerald Vanenburg,” stated Zulkifli to Tribun Timur.

The former Indonesia national team player emphasizes his role — supporting the head coach’s work and monitoring development across all team aspects.
