Zaki Ubaidillah Stuns Sixth Seed at Taipei Open 2025

Moh Zaki Ubaidillah pulled off a major upset in the Round of 32 at the Taipei Open 2025, held at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan.

The 17-year-old Indonesian men’s singles player defeated the tournament’s sixth seed, Chi Yu-jen, in a dramatic three-game match.

In the opening game, Ubaidillah appeared nervous and struggled to keep up with the home favorite — scoring in single digits.

However, the young Indonesian shuttler turned things around in the second and third games, exhausting his opponent and securing a well-deserved spot in the next round.
