Coach Yeb Delivers Instant Impact as Onic ID Climbs MPL ID S15

Onic ID, bolstered by the return of head coach Miranda “Yeb” Denver, successfully lived up to their fans’ expectations of improved performance in the recently concluded Week 6 of the MLBB Pro League Indonesia.

Heading into the week, Yeb became a surprise as he replaced Adi “Adi” Asyauri, who was heavily scrutinized due to multiple defeats in the last few weeks. Most fans of the Yellow Porcupine squad welcomed the announcement, though some skeptics questioned whether Yeb could survive a brutal opening gauntlet against Team Liquid ID and RRQ Hoshi.

These worries proved unfounded, as Yeb and his team triumphed over both opponents. On Match Day 2, ONIC dismantled Liquid ID in a clinical 2-0 sweep, with Yeb crafting draft strategies that unleashed midlaner Gilang “Sanz” as the star of the series.

Onic then continued their momentum on the Match Day 3, The Royal Derby, avenging their earlier loss to RRQ in Leg 1. Despite a shocking Game 1 defeat, Yeb showcased his strategic brilliance with counter-drafts that allowed jungler Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol to dominate, pulling a 2-1 reverse sweep.

The results propelled Onic to 5th place in the provisional standings with 6 wins from 11 matches, surpassing Alter Ego and Evos, who faltered in Week 6. It seems they are now poised to secure an upper bracket slot with this newfound form.
