Yeb Aims to Extend Onic ID’s Record Title Streak

Onic ID’s Head Coach Paul “Yeb” Denver recently expressed his desire to make history with the team by extending their championship streak in the MPL Indonesia.

The legendary Filipino coach returned as an interim coach after the Yellow Porcupines performed very poorly in the first half of the MPL ID Season 15 Regular Season. His influence brought positive results in no time, leading the team to reclaim the championship title after missing out in Season 14.

This result solidifies Onic’s position as the team with the most championship titles in MPL ID history, now holding a total of 6 trophies. And Yeb, who currently has 6 championship rings, responded to this victory with a bit of humor, saying he wants to fill all ten fingers with titles in upcoming seasons.

“If possible, I want all ten,” he joked during the MPL ID Q&A session.

He clarified that he will still receive the prestigious championship rings even if he is no longer with the squad in the future, given he still holds a managerial position within the organization. Of course, achieving this ambition would take at least 4 more seasons or 2 more years.

Yeb’s achievements with Onic could go up this season as he is confirmed to remain at the helm for the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025 tournament in Saudi Arabia next month. Given Onic’s current form, most viewers consider them as one of the strong contenders to lift the trophy at that prestigious event.
