Yatoro Says Team Spirit Far From Top Form

Team Spirit star Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk has surprisingly expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s performance this Dota 2 season.

As reigning world champions and considered one of Dota 2’s top teams, Spirit was expected to continue their success this year. Instead, they’ve fallen behind other teams currently in the spotlight, like Parivision, Tundra Esports, and Team Liquid.

The Russian boys are now taking part in PGL Wallachia Season 5 as their last mid 2025 major tournament before heading to international circuits in Saudi Arabia this July. There, Yatoro stated he’s completely unsatisfied with their current form and hopes to gain valuable insights from upcoming matches to improve their strategy.

“Right now I would rate our form at 5 out of 10. There are still a lot of things to work on. For now, we’re just trying to win games. I’m glad that we have very interesting matches in this PGL”

Yatoro’s concern is understandable. Despite still going strong in the group stage, the team has revealed weaknesses. They’ve surely learned from past tournaments and know better than to celebrate too early before reaching the finals.
