Yardan Yafi from Persita Tangerang called up to Indonesia U-23 National Team

Persita Tangerang announced that their young player — Yardan Yafi — has received a call-up to join the Indonesia U-23 National Team.

Although PSSI hasn’t released the official player list yet, several Liga 1 and Liga 2 clubs have started confirming their athletes’ selection to the Indonesia U-23 squad that will compete in the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

For the tournament to be held in the Greater Jakarta area, Indonesia is placed in Group A alongside:

• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Brunei Darussalam

Dutch coach — Gerald Vanenburg — has conducted direct scouting in Liga 1 last season to select players who will strengthen the national team in this biennial event.
