Yamaha to use special livery at Dutch MotoGP to celebrate 70th anniversary

Ahead of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP, Yamaha announced the use of special livery to celebrate Iwata manufacturer’s 70th anniversary. The YZR-M1 bikes will feature a design inspired by the 1999 YZF-R7 — showcasing a combination of red, white, and black colors at the Assen Circuit.

All four Yamaha riders — Fabio Quartararo, Alex Rins, Jack Miller, and Miguel Oliveira — will wear special racing suits inspired by Japanese World Superbike rider Noriyuki Haga, who rode the YZF-R7 OWO2 in 1999.

Yamaha Managing Director Paolo Pavesio expressed his enthusiasm:

“Today marks a truly symbolic moment as both Yamaha MotoGP teams unite on the grid, showcasing four MotoGP machines alongside the iconic 1999 YZF-R7”
