Yamaha Sunday Race 2025 at Mandalika seeks Aldi Satya’s successor

The Yamaha Sunday Race 2025, held at Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, last weekend — served as a talent search platform for young Indonesian riders. This racing event featured the R15 Junior Pro class participated by elementary to junior high school aged racers.

The program is designed to find successors to Aldi Satya Mahendra and Arai Agaska — two Indonesian riders who have achieved success on the international stage. Aldi Satya currently competes in Supersport World Championship after winning the Supersport 300 World Championship last year.

“Yamaha deliberately accommodates young riders in Indonesia to hunt for The Next Aldi Satya,” said Johannes B.M.S, Assistant GM CS Division of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).
