Yamaha Faces Major Dilemma for 2026 MotoGP Seat

Yamaha Managing Director Paolo Pavesio faces a difficult decision regarding Prima Pramac Yamaha’s future — choosing between Jack Miller or Miguel Oliveira who must vacate their seat for Toprak Razgatlioglu in the 2026 season.

The situation of both riders in Paolo Campinoti‘s team is currently unfavorable in MotoGP 2025. Oliveira still struggles to find optimal performance after suffering an injury due to an incident at Argentina MotoGP early season — the former Indonesia MotoGP 2022 winner often lags behind in rear positions with the M1 motorcycle.

Miller shows better results in several qualifying sessions and can compete in the front row — however, the former Ducati rider has not been consistent in races.

“Miguel had a difficult start to the season due to his injury at Argentina GP,” states Pavesio who remains reluctant to reveal the final decision about both riders’ future.
