Wydad Casablanca president reveals attempt to sign Ronaldo for Club World Cup

According to Bolasport.com, Wydad Casablanca President Hicham Ait-Menna has revealed his efforts to bring Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Moroccan club emerged as one of the suitors for the 40-year-old Portuguese superstar — whose contract with Al Nassr is set to expire in the near future.

Despite receiving multiple offers from Club World Cup 2025 participants, Ronaldo decided to extend his contract with Al Nassr.

“Nothing has changed. So staying at Al Nassr? Yes,” stated the former Real Madrid star last week.

“You all know my age now. I’m approaching the end, but I will enjoy every minute,” he added.
