WSBK Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu Agrees To Join MotoGP 2026 With Yamaha

According to Speedweek, Toprak Razgatlioglu — the two-time World Superbike (WSBK) champion — has officially reached an agreement to debut in MotoGP with Yamaha for the 2026 season.

Razgatlioglu’s manager, Kenan Sofuoglu, confirmed the decision after a long negotiation process. The formal signing of the contract is expected to take place during next month’s Italian MotoGP round.

The Turkish superstar will join the Prima Pramac Yamaha team and receive factory-spec equipment on par with Fabio Quartararo’s bike in the main Yamaha factory team. In addition, Razgatlioglu will be allowed to bring Red Bull as a personal sponsor to his new team.

This move marks a major shift in the Turkish rider’s career as he transitions from dominating WSBK to testing his talents at the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. Yamaha’s decision to give Razgatlioglu full-spec machinery also signals their serious investment in the 2026 rider lineup.

With expectations already building among MotoGP fans, Razgatlioglu’s arrival is set to add further excitement to the upcoming season — especially with the backing of a strong brand and a competitive bike.
