Özgür “Woxic” Eker, Aurora’s CS2 ace, recently shared insights about the team’s plans after the PGL CS2 Bucharest 2025. He revealed that Aurora is likely to take a break to refresh, regardless of their final results in the competition.

Asked about the possibility of his team taking break during post-match interview at PGL Bucharest 2025 on September 4, the Turkish sniper was asked about rumors of Aurora’s potential break. Woxic confirmed the news, stating,

“Yes. Even if we don’t win then we’ll take a break.”

Despite the challenges posed by the high-caliber competition, Woxic expressed optimism about Aurora’s performance, emphasizing that facing tough opponents has motivated the team to improve their gameplay.

Given Aurora’s grueling schedule over the past three months, it is certainly a wise decision to prioritize players’ mental and physical well-being for future top-tier events. This most likely means the team will skip smaller tournaments to focus on themselves.

Currently ranked 5th in the PGL Bucharest 2025 standings with three wins in four matches, Aurora remains a strong contender. Pundits still favor them as a top contender along with G2 Esports and 3DMax, who currently hold the first and second spots, respectively.
