Wolves Sign Jhon Arias from Fluminense on Four-Year Deal

Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the signing of winger Jhon Arias from Fluminense — the Colombian international has penned a four-year contract.

The transfer deal is valued at €22 million for 90% of the player’s rights, while Fluminense retains 10% of any future sale. The Brazilian club also secured a preferential clause should the player decide to return to play in Brazil.

Arias impressed at Fluminense with 47 goals and 55 assists in 230 appearances since joining in August 2021. The 27-year-old was part of the team that won the Copa Libertadores and reached the Club World Cup semifinals.

At international level, Arias has earned 31 caps for Colombia — including six starts in last year’s Copa América.
