Wolves Reach Deal to Sign Jhon Arias from Fluminense

According to ESPN, Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement with Fluminense for the transfer of Jhon Arias — the Colombian national team winger, who will be signed for €22 million for 90% of his ownership rights.

Fluminense will retain 10% of the player’s future sale — and will have preferential rights if Arias wishes to return to Brazil.

Since joining Fluminense four years ago, Arias has posted impressive stats — 47 goals and 55 assists in 229 appearances. The winger also played a key role in the team’s Copa Libertadores victory last year.

Arias’ final game for Fluminense is likely to be today against Cruzeiro at Maracana Stadium.
