Wolves Esports’ Head Coach Weighs in on Recent VCT Pacific Drama

Wolves Esports Valorant head coach Hoc Wah “Fayde” Chong recently responded to alleged scrim information leak in VCT Pacific Circuit.

The Valorant community was recently stirred by controversy surrounding alleged scrim information leaks among competing professionals in the VCT Pacific circuit. The issue gained traction during the playoffs intro of VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1, when Talon Esports coach Hector “Frost” Rosario reportedly refused to fist bump DRX coach Seon-ho “termi” Pyeon, accusing the latter’s team of benefiting from leaked scrim data.

The incident quickly drew reactions from fellow professionals, with some supporting Frost’s claims and others criticizing his actions as excessive and disrespectful. Fayde eventually weighed in by sharing a screenshot of conversations between coaches, suggesting such scrim-related information sharing is more common than many realize.

“Unfortunately, scrim sharing happens way often than you can imagine, and I’ve experienced it against my team before. This screenshot was given by a coach that got approached by another team’s coach, a couple days before our match,” Fayde stated.

However, he clarified that he was not directly accusing any individual or team and urged the community to await official rulings on the matter. The Malaysian coach now focuses on preparing his squad for the upcoming Valorant China Evolution Series Act 2, set to begin in two days.
