WNBA star Aliyah Boston joins ownership group of NWSL’s Boston Legacy

Aliyah Boston, WNBA star from Indiana Fever, has announced her decision to join as an investor in NWSL expansion club Boston Legacy FC — a team set to make its debut in 2026.

The club’s ownership group is led by Juno Equity founder Jennifer Epstein, with several prominent investors:

  • Aly Raisman – three-time Olympic gold medalist
  • Elizabeth Banks – actress
  • Brad Stevens – Celtics general manager
  • Tracy Stevens

“I’m proud to join the ownership group of Boston Legacy. This city helped raise me, and the support I felt here shaped so much of who I am,” stated Boston in her announcement.

The three-time All-Star has strong ties to Massachusetts — she grew up there and played basketball for Worcester Academy, winning two state championships before her jersey became the first to be retired by the school.

Jennifer Epstein emphasized that this investment demonstrates the strength of women’s sports, as both WNBA and NWSL continue to grow. Boston Legacy has confirmed they will play their entire inaugural season at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough due to delays in their main stadium development.
