Winston Lee hopes ASEAN U-16 Women’s Cup becomes platform for future stars

According to AFF, Winston Lee as AFF Secretary General expressed his hopes regarding the 2025 ASEAN U-16 Women’s Cup that will take place in Solo — the tournament is expected to become a platform for developing young ASEAN women’s football talents.

The competition scheduled for August 20-29, 2025 has completed its drawing process with three group divisions. Indonesia U-16 Women’s National Team is placed in Group A alongside Timor Leste and Malaysia — while Group B consists of Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

  • Group A: Indonesia, Timor Leste, Malaysia
  • Group B: Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia
  • Group C: Thailand, Australia, Singapore

“This tournament is a valuable opportunity for nine participating teams to showcase their best abilities,” said Winston Lee.
