Will Brown Ready for NASCAR Cup Series Chicago Street Course

Will Brown, the reigning Australian Supercars champion, is set to return to the NASCAR Cup Series 2025 for the Chicago Street Course on July 6. He will pilot the No. 13 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing, with MobileX as the primary sponsor.

Following SVG’s historic win, Brown eyes success in Chicago

The 26-year-old Australian made his NASCAR debut last year at Sonoma Raceway, driving for Richard Childress Racing. With 11 career Supercars wins and two Bathurst 12 Hour class titles, Brown brings a strong resume to the streets of Chicago.

This opportunity comes in the wake of Shane van Gisbergen’s sensational win in his NASCAR debut on the same Chicago circuit in 2023. After van Gisbergen moved full-time to NASCAR, Brown filled his seat at Red Bull Ampol Racing.

“After watching SVG win the 2023 Chicago NASCAR race and getting to drive at Sonoma last year, I’ve been really keen to try the Grant Park 165,” said Will Brown. “The Supercars calendar aligned this year to let me get to Charlotte early and prepare for the race!”

Kaulig Racing: “Amazing opportunity to compete for a win”

Team owner Matt Kaulig expressed his excitement:

“This is an amazing opportunity for Kaulig Racing to compete for a win in one of the most prestigious events. We are very excited to have Will racing with us.”
