Wiaan Mulder sets record with unbeaten 367 runs against Zimbabwe

Wiaan Mulder achieved an extraordinary feat in his captaincy debut for South Africa — scoring 367 unbeaten runs against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.

This historic innings — consisting of 49 boundaries and four sixes — led South Africa to 626/5 before declaration on day two of the second Test.

Mulder became the second South African cricketer to reach a triple century after Hashim Amla. He reached his triple century from 297 balls — the second-fastest after Virender Sehwag’s record.

With a strike rate of 109.88, Mulder now ranks fifth in the all-time highest Test scores:
