West Ham Reject Tottenham’s £50m Bid for Mohammed Kudus

West Ham United have rejected a £50 million bid from Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to ESPN sources.

The Ghana international — who joined West Ham from Ajax about two years ago — has an £85 million release clause that can only be triggered by other Premier League clubs.

New Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has made Kudus a primary target in this summer’s transfer window. Spurs are expected to return with an improved offer for the 24-year-old midfielder.

During his time with The Hammers, Kudus has featured in 80 matches — scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists. Chelsea, who previously showed interest when Kudus left Ajax, have yet to indicate if they will renew their pursuit of his signature.
