Wang Zhi Yi Falls Again to An Se-young at Indonesia Open

Wang Zhi Yi hit another roadblock against An Se-young in the Indonesia Open 2025 final at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. The 2022 and 2024 Asian champion suffered her third consecutive defeat to the world number one women’s singles player.

Prior to this loss at the Indonesia Open, Wang also had to concede defeat to An at this year’s Malaysia Open and All England Open. The Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalist further proved her dominance over the Chinese player.
