Vinicius Junior has achieved a historic milestone as Real Madrid‘s highest-scoring Brazilian player — surpassing the legendary Ronaldo Nazário‘s record.

The 24-year-old’s goal against Arsenal in the 2-1 Champions League defeat marked his 105th strike in 310 appearances for Los Blancos. This achievement places him above an illustrious list of Brazilian players who have represented the Spanish capital club.

Joining from Flamengo in 2018 for €45 million, Vinicius has developed into one of world’s premier wingers. He also holds the record as the youngest player to score in two different Champions League finals.
