Vinales reveals pride in joining KTM MotoGP team

Maverick Vinales reveals his enthusiasm after joining the KTM team in MotoGP — the rider feels proud wearing his new team’s uniform.

“I’m proud to wear KTM gear, really proud! When I feel this pride, I realize this isn’t a game, it’s serious. And then I become efficient,” states Vinales.

The presence of crew chief Jose Manuel Cazeaux — who has worked with Vinales at Suzuki and Aprilia — becomes a crucial factor in the Spanish rider’s adaptation.

“Manu is the best in the paddock! His knowledge, his attitude, everything is perfect. We speak the same language, just one look is enough for him to understand. My only condition when arriving was Manu. With him, everything goes well!” explains Vinales.

Meanwhile, Vinales’ teammate — Enea Bastianini who moved from Ducati Lenovo due to Marc Marquez’s arrival — still struggles to adapt to the RC16 motorcycle.
