Vinales Outpaces Marquez and Bagnaia in MotoGP Aragon Test 2025

Maverick Vinales stamped his authority on the 2025 MotoGP Aragon Test, clocking the fastest lap time during the second session held at MotorLand Aragon, Spain.

Riding the Red Bull KTM Tech3 RC-16, the Spanish rider posted an impressive time of 1 minute 45.6940 seconds, narrowly beating his rivals in a tightly contested afternoon.

Bezzecchi close behind, Marquez slips to third

Trailing Vinales by a mere 0.006 seconds was Marco Bezzecchi of the Aprilia Racing Team, who pushed hard throughout the session but ultimately settled for second.

Marc Marquez, who had dominated the morning session on his Ducati, experienced a performance drop, finishing third with a 0.132-second gap behind Vinales.

Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia, also from Ducati, struggled for consistency and dropped down to ninth place, a surprising result considering his strong recent form.

Teams focus on race simulations and new setups

The session, which lasted over four hours, provided teams with valuable track time to test various components and simulate full-race conditions. Engineers focused on aerodynamics, tire performance, and fuel efficiency ahead of the upcoming race calendar.

With the Aragon Test now concluded, attention turns to the next round as teams analyze data and refine strategies based on the insights gathered in Spain.
