Vinales Optimistic Ahead of British MotoGP Despite Unpredictable Weather

Maverick Vinales of Red Bull KTM Tech3 has expressed strong confidence heading into the British MotoGP at Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire, scheduled for May 23–25, 2025.

Despite the notoriously unpredictable British weather, Vinales remains upbeat about his prospects.

Strong Debut Season with KTM

In his rookie season with KTM, Vinales has shown promising performance — highlighted by a second-place finish in the Qatar GP (before a post-race penalty) which demonstrated his quick adaptation to the RC16.

“We’re heading to Silverstone, a circuit I’ve always liked. It will be interesting to see what we can do there with KTM,” said Vinales via Tech3’s official website.

The British MotoGP has gained a reputation for unpredictability — over the past ten years, the race has consistently crowned different winners each season, with multiple manufacturers rotating atop the podium.
