Vinales optimistic about KTM’s potential despite MotoGP challenges

Maverick Vinales, Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, continues to face challenges in his pursuit of the MotoGP world championship title, as reported by GPOne.

The Spanish rider remains optimistic about his victory chances — thanks to his confidence in the potential of his KTM motorcycle.

“I will succeed, although I don’t know when. This year, in terms of race victories, many things will depend on opportunities,” states Vinales.

“In Qatar, I wasn’t ready. However, if I get another chance, it will be different. Maybe I can try harder to succeed, but I think the time will come.”

Regarding the RC16 motorcycle, Vinales emphasizes the importance of precise handling — given the machine’s characteristics that demand high precision in operation.

“What I like about this brand is the people and the energizing connections. The RC16 itself has potential although it’s not easy to ride.”

The KTM rider also expresses his hopes regarding technical concessions — particularly in terms of aerodynamic development and increased testing opportunities.
