MotoGP Spain 2025: Maverick Vinales Confident Ahead of Jerez Race

Maverick Vinales of Red Bull KTM Tech3 is entering his home Grand Prix in Jerez with renewed confidence ahead of MotoGP Spain 2025 this weekend.

The Spanish rider showed strong pace in Qatar, battling closely with Marc Marquez and initially finishing on the podium — before a tire pressure infringement saw him penalized 16 seconds, dropping him to 14th place.

“We really enjoyed our weekend in Doha. The bike was working well, I felt competitive and fast all weekend,” Vinales told Paddock-GP.

Despite the technical setback, Vinales remains positive. He is the only MotoGP rider to win races with three different manufacturers — Suzuki, Yamaha, and Aprilia. Now aiming to make history with KTM, the Jerez crowd could be the boost he needs.
