Viktor Gyokeres rejects Manchester United summer transfer

According to Record, Viktor Gyokeres – Sporting CP’s key striker – has decided to reject Manchester United’s offer in this summer’s transfer window.

This decision leaves Ruben Amorim – now managing Manchester United – searching for alternative attacking options, after failing to secure a reunion with his former protégé from Sporting CP.

Gyokeres’s representatives have confirmed to Manchester United’s management that their client has no interest in moving to Old Trafford – forcing the Red Devils to shift their focus elsewhere.

Manchester United are now reportedly considering two alternative striker options:

• Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford
• Victor Osimhen from Napoli

According to Mirror, despite rejecting Manchester United, the Swedish forward might still land in the Premier League – though likely with one of the Red Devils’ rivals.
