Viktor Gyokeres one step away from joining Arsenal from Sporting CP

Sporting CP’s sensational striker — Viktor Gyokeres — is moving closer to an Arsenal transfer in this summer’s window.

The Swedish forward has shown remarkable form with Sporting CP, scoring 54 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions in the 2024-2025 season — achievements that helped his club secure a double of the Portuguese League and Portuguese Cup.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal and Sporting CP are now in final stage negotiations for Gyokeres‘ transfer. Mirror also reports that the 27-year-old has reached a verbal agreement with the North London club.
