Viktor Gyokeres chooses Arsenal, rejects reunion with Amorim at Man United

According to Fabrizio Romano, Viktor Gyokeres has reached a personal agreement with Arsenal — rejecting the chance to reunite with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.

The Swedish striker has agreed to a long-term contract with Arsenal after intensive talks over the past two days — now awaiting negotiations between The Gunners and Sporting CP.

“Gyokeres has reached total agreement with Arsenal on contract terms and informed Sporting about his desire to join. No intention to discuss other options, only to proceed with Arsenal,” Romano stated via social media.

The Italian transfer expert mentioned that the deal is in advanced stages — the transfer status is expected to be finalized soon.
