Vietnam pundit shocked by heavy defeat to Malaysia strengthened by naturalized players

According to Soha, Vietnam pundit Quang Huy expressed his shock over Vietnam’s heavy 0-4 defeat to Malaysia in the 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia’s squad, now reinforced with naturalized players from Latin America — managed to show their dominance on the field.

“I really couldn’t predict my team would lose. I said that a draw would be very lucky, and if it’s a draw, I tend to lean towards a tie, meaning both sides would be in a deadlock,” stated Quang Huy.

“However, in my heart, I thought losing by a small margin would be acceptable, because I had already imagined Malaysia’s very strong power. They have quickly naturalized players, real ‘superstar’ players, like players from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and several other European countries,” he added.
