Vietnam opens wide access for heritage and naturalized players

The Vietnamese government has taken a strategic step — revising the Citizenship Law to facilitate diaspora players joining the national team.

Vietnam’s National Assembly has approved the rule changes that will take effect next month — this policy opens opportunities for Vietnamese heritage players to strengthen the Golden Star team without administrative barriers.
