Vietnam men’s volleyball team arrives in Bahrain for AVC Nations Cup 2025

The Vietnam men’s volleyball team landed in Bahrain on Sunday (15/6) — marking the start of their preparation for the AVC Nations Cup 2025.

Placed in Group D alongside South Korea and New Zealand — the Vietnam team brings high optimism based on their performance in previous tournaments.

Vietnam’s achievement record in the past two years shows remarkable consistency:

• Fourth place finish in AVC Challenge Cup 2023
• Sixth place position in AVC Challenge Cup 2024

These performances put them ahead of Indonesia who finished sixth in 2023 — despite having senior players like Rivan Nurmulki, Doni Haryono, and Farhan Halim. The following year, Indonesia’s young squad had to settle for 11th position.
