Verstappen Takes British GP Pole, McLaren Duo Follow

Max Verstappen of Red Bull secured pole position for the 2025 British Grand Prix — followed by an impressive McLaren duo in second and third places.

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris from McLaren showed strong performance to secure front row starting positions alongside Verstappen. George Russell from Mercedes completes the second row of the grid.

Two drivers received grid penalties following earlier incidents:

• Kimi Antonelli received a three-place penalty for his collision with Verstappen at the Austrian GP
• Oliver Bearman was handed a 10-place penalty after an incident in free practice three

The third row will be occupied by Ferrari duo — Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, while Fernando Alonso from Aston Martin will start from seventh position.
