Verstappen struggles in Bahrain GP as Red Bull faces technical issues

Max Verstappen faced a challenging race at the Bahrain GP – the Red Bull driver only managed to finish sixth after starting from seventh position.

Multiple technical issues hampered the team’s performance – the first pit stop was delayed due to a prolonged red light at the pit box, while the second stop took 6.2 seconds due to front-right tire complications.

“Everything that could go wrong went wrong. The pace was very bad, so this finishing position was the best we could achieve,” stated Verstappen.

The 27-year-old driver explained that the main issues were car balance and tire management – a situation that has worsened compared to last season when Red Bull secured a 1-2 finish at the same circuit.

“We are even worse on tires this year. It makes it very complicated because last year we were not too bad around here,” added Verstappen.

Despite the difficult weekend, the reigning champion maintained a positive attitude heading into the next race series – he emphasized that the team will continue working on improvements.
